Size 44 or roughly an extra large mens. Model (me) is 5' 10" 180lbs with a 45 inch chest and 33 waist and this coat is pretty roomy on me.

Update from the Field
I just spent a week up at a Maine Guide school, brushing up on a few skills needed to pass my guide's test next week. We canoed the Penobscot, fly fished the Mattawamkeag, and generally stayed off the grid. I find it curious that every time I disappear into the woods that I find it more difficult to return to "civilized" culture. I stopped into Patagonia in Freeport on my way home to pick up a clean shirt (and because they were having a great sale!) I was still dirty, unshaven, and unwashed (other than a few swims in the river). Patrons seemed to avoid me, and the employees applauded me. The clerk welcomed me back to civilization and I jokingly quipped "I'm not so sure I'm welcome!" Hey, it's all good, but I can't wait to get back out there. In the meantime, the woodpile is calling my name.
