Pleeeeaaaase go find out <3 #Okay - onto the spoilers lol #Gosh it's so exciting to return to this with simultaneously fresh and well-informed eyes #Knowing what he's doing when even he doesn't - neither of them do! No one does!! - is Incredibly rewarding ♥#His first words - his first replies - his first re-replies where he doesn't just shut up when told to! He's so baby and already #It was also hard to think of shorthand for him so early on lol - technically since this is Ch. 2 he shouldn't look like that yet but like #Drawing him as Edgar didn't feel right even if he's Mostly him at this point #So - chibi with empty wings for right now #I had to draw him in form a word bubble would be more Accurate but I wanted to draw him blushing and shaking about being Acknowledged lol #Noticed™ ehehehe #The rush he must've felt to be spoken to... The immediate increase in personhood in existence in Power Over Him #Not just something Edgar passively goes along with but something he'll React to #Something that feeds him - something he needs as much as Edgar needs food and water and sunlight #His world his womb singing to him in call and response <3 And what a place To grow from! #💟#Doodles #Art #Edgar #Scriabin #Nny #Mainfic #Ch. 6 #Ch. 7 #Ch. 8 #Edgar spends a lot of his time in the early chapters with his glasses off :3 It's a neat signifier!#I think unsurprisingly my favourite scenes are where Edgar and Scriabin talk to each other a bunch lol #What luck! That's everywhere ♥ But it does make bringing scenes to paper a little difficult lol how do draw internal conversation #I'm very lucky to also enjoy drawing Edgar's angry face repeatedly hehe <3 #I love how often he says shut up - I didn't remember it being so often but wow!! So aggressive :D Wonder where Scriabin got it from lol #I love when he's awful ♪ Scriabin gets one (1) thing to point to him being The Worst and gets to lord it over him in perpetuity #It's not even a moral thing for him it's just to Have Something Over Edgar hehe <3 Anything for a reaction!#He just happens to also be correct about this one which is maybe even worse hehe ♫ Worst person you know has a point #Had a lot of fun with the posing on that centerpiece :D Even if it was ugh awful to edit... This paper is Not fun to work with #But at the rate I've been filling pages I won't have to deal with it for much longer hehe <3 #Really pleased with the contact points on Johnny's knee and shoe :D And Edgar underneath him! Just like he always imagined? Sure hehe #Glasses off again! Head rattled ♪#Scriabin's nonchalance is so funny to me lol - everything worked out better than expected! Let's go home and never worry about this again #And then not more than a few minutes later he actively steps in to calm Edgar down for something - admittedly dangerous but lol the contrast #He Could've helped but what would that do for his purposes? Let Edgar spiral it builds character lol #Not that he was actually any help even when he did step in - but as he says That's Not What He Does hhh I love him <3 He's awful <3 <3 #Silly chibi of our resident murderer :D Feeling much better after that brief brush with death! Thanks for that! Lol #And then a brief segue into Ch. 8 just the tiniest start - I saw what Scriabin was doing I Saw that he took over the first-person pronoun #Only does it sparingly after a point - trying to sound like Edgar's internal monologue to convince him he's really the one thinking that #Pronoun fuckery and identity issues and manipulation - whatever will get him what he wants! But it never does ♪ Just terrible <3

#💟#Doodles #Art #Edgar #Nny #Scriabin #Mainfic #Ch. 16 #It's so funny because undeniably Edgar and Scriabin are such cats - cat people cat-like catmen lol #And yet Johnny is So much more cat than either of them haha ♪ To the point where they're both dog by comparison!#Although they do both have their doglike tendencies hehe - Scriabin being a working breed continues to hold firm as things unfold #We'll get there when we get there hehe #I suppose in a way it makes sense that Nny's the cat of the three of them - Edgar needs a cat and who's he interested in? Hehehe #I love that he's so angry in this chapter <3 Out of panic mode! And the starting effects of what happened to him :)#Mad enough to not think through getting close to Nny! Still scared of him but anger motivating him into acting recklessly! Ah ♥#Even yelling at Scriabin! And he's quiet for it!!! Demanding his attention in return hehe I love when they switch up their roles ♪#While I do like the little mental aside of Edgar turning to Scriabin internally and the rain disappearing to denote the internality...#I think it was a mistake on my part to show him visually again this early on lol - yes he's made his full debut in 13 by this point but hrm #I think it's jumping the gun before he does his little wind-whispers in the back half of 17 - so I rescind my visual Scriabin here lol #I think I'd have him clench his toy in his pocket if I was to draw it again but he only remembers his toy once he's in his apartment! Tch #Why must my favourite little guy be inside my other favourite little guy in a way that obscures him so for so much of his screentime lol #Important themes vs. his very pretty face how am I supposed to choose hehe #Speaking of themes I'm enjoying the psuedo-blank eyes behind his cracked lenses... It doesn't Mean Something every time I do that but hmm #It's also annoying to draw his eyes behind cracked lenses without everything getting muddled but pfsh details it happens to align lol #I really like drawing them all rain-wet hehe it's so cute <3 Even his little ahoge is droopy lol #Smol reading update! She wasn't sure how to read Nny knocking Edgar's glasses off haha she was like ''What happened'' hehe #I explained in our nightly bookclub meeting ♪ Silliness! Yay! :D #So much of the front half of the chapter is pleasant - I mean Edgar's mad but that's probably not important <3 #Really like how his lantern is blue.... Blue light caught off the cracked edges of his glasses.......#Smol also made some sad points about Edgar being a prepper with his car and closet supplies - who else is looking out for him if not him ;;

Why are you fighting him on it! Could it be that you're intentionally distancing yourself? Hee #Cute EdgarNny exchange <3 It could be so dangerous! Edgar pretending he understands Nny? Just makes him paranoid!#How dare Edgar act like all the others who don't /get/ it who don't understand him! But no this time it was fine... Hmm....#He did just eat in fairness one less factor to make him hangry lol #Scriabin jumpscare(s) <3 I miss drawing him!! He's so cute! It was way too quick way too easy he Had to have been working on it #The image of him projecting out into his toy as Edgar sleeps... Making soft little noises in the middle of the night in practice... Ah...#I love drawing him as his toy and talking ♫ It's spooky! And a little silly!! For less-than-kind reasons lol but he is!#Love how he plays defensive about it ♪ Something in his programming still telling him to keep it on the downlow but c'mon now #We all know he's been chomping at the bit to be acknowledged as his own person - he doesn't even fight Edgar that hard about it lol #He can be vicious when he chooses to be - even at this stage he can be unsettling or mean! He hasn't quite gotten cruel yet but he could #But no he gives his little pushbacks and then settles in like Fiiiiine if you Insiiiist I'm my own person then I guess I have no Choooiiicee #Lol <3 I'm sure he liked being sneaky too but how exactly is he going to deny that Edgar can feel the physicality he's projected into?#He doesn't even bother <3 He's so cute #Still deflects! Still distracts! Ahem ahem:#Y'ever just read something and Know that you're gonna think about it for approximately the next five years #Can confirm - am still thinking about ♥ Did I time it this way on purpose? Hehe :3c I'd be rereading at this point even without the update!#The fact that there's Also the update is just an extra treat augh - getting there!!! For now the last-news hehe #I love whenever the Vargases are in tandem <3 And I think it's Very funny that they both refute it! They've literally been that! Haha ♪#I kept trying to figure what was so familiar to me while drawing Scriabin's bruised eye squinted shut and then was like ''Oh yeah. VUX'' lol #Scriabin gloating... Edgar tells him to knock it off in the moment and then follows up with surprise later that he didn't do worse haha #Just couldn't help himself! Feeling wanted by his world has always been the most important to him but really - now is not the time haha #It is really fun and nice to draw them hugging tho <3 Especially after Edgar forced that hug on him! Vindictive hugging haha #Edgar spelling out for Nny why he wants to keep Scriabin - sets him up for his more self-focused sadness to follow :(#Nny really lost the most of all of them... Some self-inflicted of course haha but Edgar got to keep Scriabin and Devi still hears Sickness #Nny didn't get to keep any of the voices he came In with! His creativity drained his desires repurposed #And even those beautiful memories he worked so hard for... His memory was already pretty shaky and now...#As soon as Scriabin steps Out to check on Sickness - still so cool agh - Edgar goes ahead and engages with that empathy...#He doesn't deserve it Edgar :( It's sad of course! Nny's never had an easy time of anything but Edgar....#As soon as Scriabin's not there to redirect him he goes right back it haha <3 Come back soon Scriabin! So trusting that Edgar's got him ♥#The phone scene is So funny to me lol <3 Phones make a great interrupting force darn them! It's so absurd haha ♪#Love seeing them being cute and domestic!
