#maintenance question

a not-so-normal irl post from me but-

I live in an apartment and my furnace stopped working yesterday-

is this considered a maintenance emergency? should I call the hotline or just put in a normal work order? (i've never done this before)

It's currently 20° here with snow on the ground and the heat in the apt has steadily been dropping-

It was around 64° when I went to bed last night and it's 58° in here now.
