Only curiosity would allow head to turn, though such lack of definite knowledge would seed a sprouting hesitation of uncertainty within his hopeful heart. Boy knows not yet of whom another speaks to, for never would one bother to approach him with any sort of question, never would one dare to recognize his very presence. Surely, such aimless speech had not been directed to himself. After all, the living should not speak with the dead.

Yet, even still, it haunts him. Even this depthless conversation would soon be forgotten, just as he.
