1. Tell us your Inquisitor’s name, gender / gender affiliation (if any applies!), age, race and class.
2. Describe your Inquisitor’s appearance.
3. Does your Inquisitor have any backstory besides the official one coming with their race?
4. What’s your Inquisitor’s stance on their class? If they are a rogue or warrior, how did they gain their skills? Have they trained hard and are they good at their class? If they are a mage, are they a good mage and what’s their stance on their magical talents?
5. What is your Inquisitor’s sexual and/or romantic orientation? Will they romance anyone? If yes, whom, and why and how are they going to fall in love?
Okay, so here we go!
1. His name Michael Trevelyan, male, Human and a warrior and is 28.
2. He has brown hair that is straight and goes to the top of his his ears. He has deep blue, stormy eyes, a hawke( ;] ) like nose, clean- shaven, has bags under his eyes, and skin tanned by working under the sun.
3. Michael was named after the Fereldan man who saved his father’s life during the civil war for Fereldan, as a nod of appreciation for the loyalists who stood by Orlais. From birth, it seemed, he was meant to go beyond what was normal. He was the eldest son of House Trevelyan, and pretty much the epitome of a “good son” has no patience for corruption of any sort, and loves all of his family, but was closest to his younger brother Lucien. Sadly, his brother and father always butted heads, with Michael always having to be the bridge between them. When the Mage-Templar war began, Lucien wanted to help the mages, and had a huge argument erupted with the whole family, and later that night he slipped away along with his friends from the castle. Father forbade talking about him. after that. A year later, Lucien’s body was found after a bloody skirmish near the Frostback Mountains. Michael wept after hearing this, but never spoke of it.
4. He is a warrior, trained with his cousins and younger siblings who later became Templars, but never joined them himself for no other reason than for being the eldest son, though he did acquire some of their principles, such as a code of honor and a healthy caution towards magic. He worked nearly obsessively and quickly became a skilled fighter and tactician.
5. He is straight, and he likes, appreciates, or at least puts up with all his companions and advisors (Looking intently at Dorian). However, he will romance Cassandra, and it will (I hope) start with her being the one watching him to make sure Michael doesn't turn crazy and explode, eventually be like two shared-foxholes-together friends who see a sad depth to each other and want to help, and finally become lovers who lean on each other for support.
Other things about him:
As said earlier, hates corruption (be it magical, like blood magic or red lyrium, morally or just plain insane).
He is afraid of letting those under him, and all of thedas, down, and that this new power that can seal tears might corrupt him one day.
Adorable and innocent acts make him laugh the most(out of fondness), along with good party banter.
His sense of humor is dry and occasionally very witty.
His favorite place is a tie, between the stables, grooming his mount, and walking about the garden, both peaceful and lets him ponder. His greatest achievement was saving Lucien's life from a hostile bear.
The House ring, a reminder of the Trevelyan promise to do what is right no matter what.
His greatest regret is knowing that not matter how hard he tries, he can't save everyone.
He is devoted to the maker, irked by the others, and believes(or at least hopes) his new power is from him and not some deamon.
His political views are fairly neutral (he would usually side with Templars but the red lyrium incident has put him off with them a little, and will at least hear the mages out, for Lucien's sake.) Overall, his views are that the inquisition is the only things that will save thedas from this Age's catastrophes, so whoever helps the Inquisition is a friend to Michael(though with Rivain and Tevinter he's a little less fine with.)
He wants to help ALL of Thedas's races and people, but he won't, for example, help the elves form the Dales again, if it costs the other nations dearly., and likes to get to know all his subordinates, so he knows who he is responsible for.
He holds grudges if they betray him, but not for much else.
He only kills when necessary, and even when fighting the corrupt, he finishes them quickly, like a rabid dog.
He is both book and street smart, because as a Noble's heir, you must be ready for anything, and he has been trained to do just that, though with the breach, he was a little less prepared.
His greatest strength and weakness is he puts everyones troubles on his shoulders.
