There is not a Prophet nor a Successor of a Prophet except that his body stays on Earth for three days until he his soul, bones, and body is raised towards the skies. The trails [of the area in which he were raised] will still be there and one can send his greeting's [Salām] and they hear [the Salām] at the location in which they were raised.
