The night is long, Alī is gone, Heavens weep, and the Earth seeps ...
Signs so clear, in the universe they appear, a tragedy so severe ...
Hear my plee! First al-'Nabi, than 'Alī ...
Orphaned we now are ... orphaned we now are

The Prophet (peace be upon him & his family) said:
The parable of the intellect in the heart, is like that of the lamp in the middle of the house.
— 'Ilal al-Sharā'īh, P.98, H.1
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him & his family):
If the believer dies and leaves behind but a paper with knowledge on it, said paper will be a shelter between them and Hellfire, and Allah, the Exalted, will giveth for ever written letter a city seven times wider than this world.
– Bihar, V.2, P.44
Imām 'Ālī (عليه السلام):
Allah, the Exalted, equipped the angels intellect without shawāh (desire), the animals desire without intellect, and the sons of Adam were given both. Whomsoever wins over pleasure is greater than the angels, and whomsoever's pleasure wins over their intellect is worse than the animal.
— 'Ilāl al-Sharā'īh, P.4, H.1
Imām al-Kādhīm (peace be upon him:)
He who does not judge himself daily is not from us, for if he performs a good deed, Allah will increase it for him, and if he performs a wrongdoing (sin), he asks for repentance so that he may be forgiven.
— Usul Al-Kāfi, V.2, Pg.557, Print: Beirut, 2005
Humankind is equal, like the teeth of the comb
— Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه آله)
You have a right to your fellow brother/sister to stand up and speak! Especially as a Muslim, silence is oppression. These were the words of Imam al-Husāyn (عليه السلام) on the Day of 'Ashurā, ponder and reflect upon it, because he is speaking to all of humanity!
