Ebbene si! Da oggi iniziamo un nuovo format basato sui tarocchi. Precisamente sui 22 arcani maggiori! 💖

E partiamo con il numero ➖ 𝟏𝟓. " 𝑰𝒍 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒍𝒐 " 🖤

Portavoce dell'energia istintiva, della passione sfrenata, della sessualità, del potere materiale e delle dipendenze, simboleggia la necessità di affrontare la propria "ombra" interiore.

Ma io ho deciso di fare un riferimento più "biblico" rappresentando il diavolo ✡️ come l'angelo caduto, incatenato al suo regno, intento a raggiungere il paradiso che, per quanto distante, lo riscalda con la sua luce divina. Portandogli ricordi ormai fini a se stessi.🪶

Dovete sapere che questo disegno era nato per una collaborazione, che poi è venuta a mancare, intorno a Settembre dell'anno scorso. Ed è il primo disegno che ho affrontato all'inizio dell'Academy con @kreolisa a cui devo un ringraziamento per tutti gli insegnamenti dati.🖤🙏

Con la collaborazione nel dubbio mi è stata messa una pulce nell'orecchio ed è nato il desiderio di rendere questo tarocco un progetto più grande. Così con la bravissima @daanielacirillo ci siamo messe all'opera per realizzare il tutto.✨ (I più fedeli si ricorderanno i vari work in progress e sondaggi nati a tema sul mio ✈️Canale Telegram).

Per cui finito il tarocco, abbiamo studiato il retro, scelto da voi, e dopo tante prove con After Effect e la musica unica del buon @damikratos eccoci qui con la partenza di questo progetto che non avrà data fissa ma uscirà poco a poco da se con i suoi tempi.

Yes, indeed! Starting today, we're launching a new format based on the Tarot. Specifically, on the 22 Major Arcana! 💜

And we're starting with number ➖ 𝟏𝟓. " 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 " 🖤

The spokesperson for instinctive energy, unbridled passion, sexuality, material power, and addictions, he symbolizes the need to confront one's inner "shadow." But I decided to make a more "biblical" reference, depicting the devil ✡️ as the fallen angel, chained to his kingdom, intent on reaching paradise, which, however distant, warms him with its divine light. Bringing him memories that are now ends in themselves. 🪶

You should know that this drawing was born from a collaboration, which ultimately ended around September of last year. And it's the first drawing I tackled at the beginning of the Academy with @kreolisa , to whom I owe a special thanks for all the lessons she taught me.🙏

With the collaboration, a flea in my ear was put in my head, and the desire to make this tarot a larger project was born. So, with the wonderful @daanielacirillo , we got to work to make it happen.✨ (The most faithful will remember the various works in progress and polls on my ✈️ Telegram Channel)

So, once the tarot was finished, we studied the back, chosen by you, and after many tests with After Effects and the unique music of the good @damikratos 🎶 here we are with the launch of this project. It won't have a fixed date but will gradually be released on its own.

Major Arcana: Justice

This piece is back from late April 2019 and features one of the most explosive baritone arias from my favorite opera Rigoletto by Verdi. In this scene, "Cortigiani, vil razza," Rigoletto is certain his daughter is being held hostage by his employer the Duke and his courtiers who encourage the Duke's lecherous behavior, and he demands her release. The courtiers do not take Rigoletto's demands seriously and the aria changes from explosive fire, anger, and threats of physical violence to Rigoletto on his knees begging for even a scrap of empathy. It is one of the most heartbreaking scenes I have ever experienced, how in one moment this character is filled with righteous anger, and in the next is begging to be seen as a human being.

The most influential recording on me has been the one with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau in the role of Rigoletto, with Rennata Scotto as Gilda and Carlo Bergonzi as the Duke. At the moment of posting, that whole recording is available to listen to here.

I also really love Sherrill Milnes as Rigoletto; he always brings a majesty and heartbreaking quality to his work. Here he is singing the aria that this card depicts.
