Okay, but, do you know any good fics that actually address Mikey's Bipolar??? Because everyone always overlooks it and when you have Bipolar you just want to see it represented.

I'm trans, ftm, and starting testosterone Tuesday. I'm a soprano and, while I'm glad my voice will be lower, I still want to have a decent range. I currently have no access to vocal lessons, but, do you have any advice for preserving some of (1/2)
(2/2) my upper range? I understand it won't be exactly the same, but, it's important to me to still have several octaves and the creative freedom that comes with that.
I’m going to encourage you to do some research on what’s going to physically change in your vocal apparatus when you start testosterone, because there are going to be muscular changes. Primarily, the vocal folds are going to lengthen and thicken. There is no stopping or preventing this, and it will lower both your speaking and your singing voice. So unfortunately, you are going to be physically limited by how the testosterone changes your vocal folds. Longer and thicker vocal chords are what make the male voice lower and more bass-heavy than female voices, and unfortunately it’s not a matter of exercises or training to maintain a high range with this. Now, that being said, every person reacts to testosterone differently, and you may not have a huge lowering of your vocal range. Or you might, there’s really no way to know. But doing some looking into how it’s going to change your singing voice and what’s physically happening in the vocal tract is going to give you a lot of information.
This really had to be the worst day in his entire life
Will had to skip a day of school to visit his grandma in the hospital and Johnny had managed to get the flu. In May! How did he even manage that? Lucky bastard was probably at home playing video games now or praticing guitar or something actually fun.
Leaving Tunny all alone to sit through an entire normal day. Except he had just been accused of stealing this girl’s lunch money! It was unfair and freaking bullshit and everything- But he had to set this right somehow. And wasn’t that her there, sitting in the corner by herself? Maybe she had to stay longer until the money was found. Whatever. This was his only chance- If she was busy with something else Tunny hadn’t noticed it, though for once he managed to remember his indoor voice.
“You don’t seriously think I took it, right?”
@ self-Dx anon: it's really not fair to those of us who have atypical symptoms to just go undiagnosed our whole lives. And it's not like we're just making it up, we're looking at diagnostic criteria and reaching a conclusion.
I know, right??
//Yo, I'm just saying middle school/ high school freshman Tunny and Mia or Tunny and heather-
//help I don't know the exact ages for middle school or freshman oops ^^' But yes lets do it!
