For our last lunch in Makarska, we hit a little seaside cafe close to our hotel. We'd been a few times before during the week and the waiter must have taken a liking to us. After we ordered, he brought out an off-menu special for us to try... hand made skuta cheese with fresh tomato on bread slathered with a pesto made from herbs foraged on Mt. Biokovo!!
