Oh no! Where did I put it? Where? Where?
Those were the thoughts currently flitting about the silver haired girl’s mind, gnawing and biting at her. The distress was plain as day written all over her graceful features, but no matter how quickly she whipped from one direction to the next, her prized possession was nowhere to be seen. “Lia.. Maybe it’s time to try asking around?”
Emilia placed her hands on her hips, brows furrowed as she stared hard at the ground at her feet. “Maybe.. You’re right.” Generally she preferred solving her own problems but this time a little helping hand was in order. “Two eyes are better than one.. And so on so forth.” Saying this with a wave of her extended finger, Emilia dropped her hands to her sides, her shoulders squared tensely as her amethyst eyes scanned her surroundings.
“Let’s try asking them.” Came the small, boyish voice close to her ear.
“Mn.” The silver haired female agreed with a sound of approval and stalked forward, approaching the person.
“Excuse me. Can I ask you something?”Her inquiry came out much more stern than she meant it, but it was in fault to her nerves and frustration aimed at no one else but herself. “I’m looking for something.. It’s small. Like this.” Emilia made a circle with her thumb and pointer finger. “It’s got a jewel in the center too. Have you seen it?”
