There's a saying in Chinese 夫妻相 (fū qī xiàng) which means similarity in features of an old couple and/or common facial traits that show predestination to be married together. It suddenly struck me that based on the character designs alone, Cloud and Tifa fit this pun more than anything else. Seeing Cloud and Aerith together just doesn't look right to me for some reasons. It's like Cloud was made for Tifa and vice versa, and the same goes for Zack and Aerith.

They look good together and I'm gonna add there's no comparable image to this shot too. I looked and couldn't find one. They look like a couple when they fight and when they don't. They have the same kind of grace in their movements, they're both willing to go that extra mile for each other and they know they've got each other's back physically and emotionally.
