Idk exactly how much, but he was given some very important scenarios to direct personally by Kitase, so if something in the game looks peak it's because Nomura did it and he actually understands what people want 😁

Most streamers choose Tifa and the cope is "chat forced them" which doesn't make sense, then that means majority still prefer Tifa. I would say Tifa is even more popular than sephirth and maybe even Cloud, she has this cool heroine energy and supportive people love. Actually for Remake they did a whole poll and it showed the majority of players did Alone at last, chose which of Tifa's dresses they liked best, and how many people got her resolution.

She won all those categories and a lot of people didn't even realise there were other resolutions until they saw Aerith's in the credits and went back to replay and try to figure out how to get it since they hadn't figured out it was via sidequests and the sewer choice at that point.

They didn't do a poll for Rebirth but from the informal ones and ign etc doing them it was clear that Tifa's date is the winner for both chapter 8 and chapter 12.

Tifa is the most popular and loved, no matter what those lying gaslighting haters say.
