For people who think 4x13 can ‘fix’ things

It fucking can’t. Just because we might get a scene where it might seem Queliot is on the table again (as in, relationship and not subtext). It’s not just about ‘making Queliot canon’, it’s treating it with respect. So many times now we were basically robbed of stuff that if places were reversed (for example, building up Qualice while Queliot is canon) we would have gotten them. If Alice spent 50 years with Q and they had a kid? The writers would make Q mention it to the plant. When Alice was possessed or when Q was trying to get her back? He talked about her, he had emotional moments, he even talked about her with PENNY! But this?? Q not really talking about Eliot (other than ‘we have to save him’, because that’s ALL he said on that topic), not having a scene where he talks about his feelings (we can see he was hopeless/depressed etc BUT we need some kind of acknowledgement too!), keeping it all subtext or between the lines... We were robbed. How many times had we watched a scene, between 4x06-4x12 where Q mentioning Eliot or talking about his feelings or even saying he HAD A FAMILY AND A SON (Poppy ep) would have felt natural and IC but nothing of the sorts happened? But when it’s a straight pairing it’s all in your face. I’ve been in many fandoms and I saw stuff like that happen often. Worst case scenario, we’ll get ambiguous Queliot scene (or even, just Queliot scene) in finale and people are gonna be ‘all is forgiven now’. BUT NO PAIRING DESERVES SUCH TREATMENT! You can’t just give all the love, all the scenes, all the mentions to one pairing(s), and only give the minimal to another and call it GREAT AND REVOLUTIONARY PAIRING! We deserve better than have some crumbs instead of normal treatment [any straight pairing would get].
