Most of the time I draw ridiculously huge like that, with the reasoning that you never know when you might want to have something printed! (And I have a terabyte hard drive so it’s fine lmao)

For posting, I reduce the size to 50%, the dpi to 72, and save it as a PNG. That does make the files a little larger than strictly necessary (and I have to save them differently for twitter because it has an even smaller image size limit), but I like the crispness of it vs saving them as jpegs.
