Someone write me a ShinRan fic that reads like a stereotypical shojo. Whether this takes place in canon or an au is optional. The only requirement is that Shinichi is cast where there is usually a girl, and Ran where a guy is.

Is Picard queerbaiting in an evolved/hidden form? I mean they gave us that glimpse of Saffi in S1 and in S2 and suddenly they’re broken up in S3 without any reason given whatsover?

Even worse, Matala-Shambala said somewhere that they had to be broken up because they knew that Seven and Raffi would end up as Captain and XO on the Enterprise.

I want more people to combine the admittedly rare "Steve has a good mom, actually" fic with the "Steve's mom is super respected in the community" line from canon.

Like, I think it could actually be so neat if she was like... one of the most active PTA moms, super involved in organizing and running loads of the community events (things at the rec center and at the library, etc.), writes in little letters that get published in the local paper every week, community outreach programs, etc.

And everyone in town is like, "oh, there goes [first name] Harrington, wonder how that boy of hers could have turned out to be such a troublemaker" (here opinon diverges, with a mostly split camp between "must be the father's influence" and "boys will be boys" depending on who it is)

And then the town sees Steve seem to grow out of that nonsense and start being generally friendly and helpful, spending his friend time toting around a bunch of children and chatting with a band geek instead of running around with his old crowd of boys, vandalizing property for laughs and whatnot,

And they're like "ah, there he is. THAT'S [Steve's mom]'s son."
