Everyone needs to calm the fuck down about those leaks and the latest ‘episode review’.

Take a deep breath and say this with me.. THIS IS A SHOW OF FICTION AND IT’S NOT REAL…

It’s understandable to be upset especially when characters you love do the most fucked up and disappointing things. But it’s not the end. Yet.

I would suggest for you to read/re-read the books if you feel your faith in the ship is wavering. There are forces at hand that we do not yet understand and sometimes chaos is needed to bring about order. Prophecies and visions are still very much an important part of the story, if not the main driving force.

That said, yeah, saying is easy but doing is far from it - true, we’re all emotional beings but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give peace of mind a chance. All it takes for you is to say, “I choose to disengage from all the leaks and spoilers because my mental and emotional states are far more important than some Game of Thrones.” YOU ARE MORE THAN THIS, YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS.

And I cannot stress this enough, do be mindful of new shippers coming into the fandom who are looking to belong - let’s welcome them with a hug and positive energy, lets NOT hate and let’s try to look past the leaks/spoilers and stay strong in our love for Jonsa together. We didn’t reach top 20 ships for nothing, you know.

So take a deep breath and make that choice to have peace, right now.

i just think that it’s important to be reminded that being LGBTQIAP+ is NOT a choice, but being an ally and an advocate as a cishet person is. we can’t control our identity, you can control your attitude
