CHRISTMAS EMERGENCY!!!

Christmas is in just a few days and I have nothing to present to my mom and dad as presents!!! I've gotta make something for each of them and fast! I need your guys' help, do you know about any good crafts or make-shift gifts? My family is military, my mom was navy and my dad was chief in the coastguard. She loooves Hello Kitty, and he loves to fix things, build, and work on projects (usually construction). He is Mexican-American, and she is Japanese-Norwegian. Any good ideas?

Well into the twentieth century, clothes were pricey and precious enough that they were mended and cared for and reimagined countless times, and most people had a few outfts that they wore until they wore them out.
