How to make a banging drop🎶❤😍 Often times it's not about how many elements there are in a track, but rather how they work together. For example in this tune I was working with a really thick synth that was overpowering the Oud (guitar) I had to take that out and use a really high saw that was pitched and phased so that it wasn't competing for space in the mix. Another thing to note is the fact that the bass almost seems inaudible when the high layer is muted. By adding a high layer, in this instance; just a click, it makes the bass seem present even on speakers that don't output the actual bass frequencies.
