Bella was finally getting sleep, in spite of recent events that resulted in her boyfriend Nathaniel sitting in the hospital and her family friend Armando sitting in Curdun Cay. After this whirlwind of a few weeks she hoped for a light at the end of the tunnel.
“Bella,” her Uncle Roddy called to her, “I just got a letter from Armando … Wow, I am surprised Augustine is allowing mail in and out of Curdun Cay…”
Chances here this is going to be my life here in the Cay. First of all, thank you for being the brother I have always wanted. I promised we’d have each other’s backs, even if it means me being locked up here.
My daughter Dianna is likely going to be back to town by the time she knows of my fate. I have given her the house and the restaurant.
There is one more favor, brother. My bass guitar is still at the club…please give that to Nate. I see a bright future for him and Bella, and just like you are my brother, I treat him like a nephew. It would be an honor to have him play my bass during one of the Hammerhead Farts shows (I knew he looked familiar, reminds me of our band, eh?) .
