Had to remove the video because it was flagged by @blackishabc. I still believe it's worth posting, and I would love to discuss. Here are my original thoughts: __ Dear Future Husband, I will graciously make your plate. Signed your loving future wife. __ I have no issues with making a dish for someone I love. I make dishes for my children, family members, and someday my husband. I've never aligned with the principles of being the head of the household and never wanted to be treated as such. I'm only doing what I'm forced to do, but when the time comes and with the right man, I will gladly hand over this title in the form of a partnership. To me, a simple gesture such as making your man's plate goes a long way. I believe we need to go back to purposely serving one another. Thoughts? And this is not about gender roles; it's merely about respecting your husband's hard work and desire to take care of his family. I get the woman's movement, but this post isn't about that. #somethingsabouther #makehisplate #blackish #newschool #oldschoolways #dearfuturehusband (at Avondale, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bqp0Qc2Fx1l/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=8cak4znrhdp4
