An open letter to my future husband,

I know you are out there, chasing for your dreams,

rejected by someone or healing from a heartbreak

figuring things out, lost, or still looking for yourself.

Know that when our lives may cross paths someday,

it will happen In the most unexpected reason. At the most unexpected time.

I know that when that day comes,

It will be a blessed day.

Whatever you are feeling right now it will be over soon. Just be patient and brave and dont forget to pray.

I might be miles away from you but remember, we are binded by the promise that God has for us.

And when the time is right, we will know. 😊

Please take care of yourself. Be kind to people and be understanding. Please do have a good singing voice . I hope that you are a kind, loving person with unbelievable hopes and dreams.. I hope that youll be consistent in your good morning and good nights. And be my calm from my storm. and above all please Love GOD always and put him first because He will be the center of our relationship. Please fight for me always. And I do hope that you have a good sense of humor 😆 coz we will be best buddies for life.

Dear Future Husband...

When I tell other people I want my future husband to have my last name, they say, “that won't happen.” But why won’t it? I am an only child, my father died before I was born and my last name is incredibly unique, why wouldn't I want my husband to share that uniqueness? Why can’t my future children enjoy my last name as their own? Many people think that I will at least need to get my name hyphenated but I disagree. I am the only child from my father, if my husband has brothers? Why can’t he take mine? Is that really so much to ask if most men ask the same of their future wives? I hope I will have an understanding husband, one who will want to share MY name instead of his. I cannot imagine being anyone else, my last name means far too much to me. Maybe I am asking too much, maybe I am blowing this out of proportion... Or maybe I am asking enough, maybe I am giving this the right amount of importance. Only time will tell, future husband.

The moment I meet you, I won't know that you're the one. I won't have a feeling. I might look back and think that I did, but I mostly didn't. It's near impossible to have that "feeling." I will know that you're the one unexpectedly, out of the blue. One day, you'll surprise me, impress me, make me feel at ease and then, I'll see it.

I like sitting in the backseat

It’s Christmas Eve and your driving your grandpa’s truck to show us the lights around town. Your grandma’s sitting copilot. I feel like I’m looking at you from a new perspective. I’m so used to being the copilot in your life. But right now, I just get to be the onlooker. I get to watch your hands on the steering wheel. I get to listen in to your conversations with your grandma. Even the way you spit into your bottle looks a little different. Your laugh sounds a little cuter and your arms look a little more like I want to be in them.

Dear,  

    I have no idea where you are now but I’m writing you this, even, before setting my eyes on you. It’s been a long and tough journey but I know one thing to be as true as ever was - “Whatever our souls are made of, yours and mine are the same.”     You made the wait worthwhile and I am beyond grateful to have someone like you in my life. Someone who’s ready to meet me halfway and put my happiness on the same level of his. Someone who sees beyond possessions, education or even looks. You see right through people and that’s something I’ve always liked about you.. The way you feel about other people, the mercy and kindness you hold within say a lot about you, say a lot about your heart that’s as soft as a feather pillow.. We have a lot in common, you know that?

   We see eye to eye, heart to heart and soul to soul. It impresses me the way you finish my sentences, the way you appreciate and share the silence whenever I don’t feel much like talking.
