To all Ilonggos out there, today at 1:00 pm, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) is going to open the Museum of Philippine Economic History housed at the newly restored Edificio de Ynchausti y Compañia (1905) in Iloilo City. It has free entrance fee beginning tomorrow. We worked tirelessly, given the bureaucratic limitations, to pull this off. It is the first museum of its kind in the country. We hope that economists, history buffs, businessmen and women, will be able to enjoy the permanent displays. Come and visit us! The opening will be graced by Senator Franklin Drilon, and the Madrigal Singers. #HeritagePH #Museum #MakeItHistoric #NHCP #history #kasaysayan #Philippines #Iloilo (at Edificio De Elizalde Y Cia) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtuizJ3hsbo/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=13w5vlf8aeai7
