The older of the two wrapped his arms around Franziska, embracing her tightly. He was aware that such an action could cause him pain, --literally-- but he was horrid at expressing his gratitude through words. He cared deeply for his younger sister, despite everything, and he was proud of her. Even though she admired her father greatly, she chose to travel a different path; a path of her own, and that made him happy. Thus, the Chief Prosecutor hugged her tightly. He knew she’d reject it, they weren’t familiar with affectionate contact, but he didn’t care. They were older and past all of that. “You’re doing a great job, Franziska, I couldn’t be more proud of you.” He mumbled to her, aware that she’d tell him that his opinion didn’t matter. “And I wish to thank you. Even with our sibling rivalry, you helped guide me, perhaps without even realizing it.” He then smirked briefly, knowing very well that she’d smack him for this before he pressed a familial kiss to her forehead. He definitely deserved the hit and he didn’t care one ounce.
