Invitation to: Maker Station studios and more
We are looking at moving the Maker Station into a great 1st home in Woodstock! We have a lot of plans for the space that we will reveal as things develop, and develop as things reveal themselves, but for a start here is the short version.
We will have space to set up an engineering Station, Metal work Station, Woodworking station and more on the ground floor, our dirty noisy space. On the top floor we will have 200 plus square meters of scalable work space and work stations, for all the ”clean” trades, crafts and hacking, with a small workshop with desktop tools at hand.
We have a nice big 80 msq lounge area with a balcony and views of the mountain, this area will also be open to non members and set up with coffee/WiFi, a reference library etc.
We have 6 small studios for long term tenants in the space, Artists, Craft producers, Designers, etc. you can even run a service to other Makers from these spaces i.e. 3D printing, consulting or training workshops etc. The studios range in size from from 10 to 30 sqm. Attached are the floor plans.
Please contact me any time for more details and ways to get involved with the Maker Station at any level. We are open for advice, collaboration and to talk business.
