I'm surprised I've stuck with #makersgetreal all the way to day nine. I do not find posting every day easy. Today's prompt is hope and fears. Oh jeez, don't we all hope to support ourselves with what we make? I'd love to get even half of a supporting income through my jewelry. 💕 Patreon has really helped with that, actually. As for fears, see yesterday. I'm afraid of a final burnout that causes me to quit making jewelry entirely. Oh, and I'm scared to death of doing fairs. Ha ha ha. ✌️

I'm attempting to do #makersgetreal on Instagram (enjoy here, too - already one day behind, but that just means two posts for y'all today). The first prompt is I'm a #maker, but I'm also.... So! I know I occasionally allude to this, but did you know that I'm the assistant editor for a magazine? I get to fulfill my compulsion to correct other people's writing, for money! #makersgetreal Day 7: A Recent Screw Up We have a Fae Perks program in our business group, as a way to reward members. I usually count all the points earned in the week prior on Sundays. But I failed to get that done in February. I think I MIGHT have finished the first weeks points... last week. Lol So instead of torturing myself, I decided to turn it into a bonus for our members by giving them ALL 500 points, even though I know that the highest anyone has EVER earned in the life of the program has been around 270. But they put up with me and understand all the craziness I have going on in my life, so I wanted to give back. That point boost will be enough to push some members into the next reward tier. #makersgetreal Day 2 Daily challenges, big and small. My small daily challenge is my tiniest human. She makes it hard to accomplish much between the diaper changes and nursing sessions. My 4 children are the light of my life, but also my biggest source of stress! Lol These 3 in particular because they're the ones that are at home the most. My big daily challenge is being a mompreneur in general. I struggle to give all my priorities the needed attention and fail daily to accomplish everything that needs to be done. YES! I am finally committed to the next shop update. Coming up on Friday! There will be around 25 new pieces; heavily focused on earrings. More previews will roll out in the next few days. Onto day 12 of #makersgetreal! My weaknesses: laziness (aka I want to play video games all day); more laziness (I tend to put off projects that I know will take many hours); disorganization (slowly conquering this one); social anxiety (what I could get done if the mere thought of talking to someone didn’t spiral me into going to bed). Did I mention disorganization? Because wow is that one the most annoying. e.e

Okay, finally back to #makersgetreal, day eleven: leave your comfort zone. I've put this off because the only thing I can think of is creating something beyond my current strengths, but I don't have the time! Too busy packing and working.
