I’ll be honest I’ve been trying to write for the past like month and a half now and every time I get inspiration and the mood strikes I start working and my brain reminds me of my failure to find a job since graduation and I start to hate myself for indulging in writing that won’t make me money and can’t go in my portfolio or get published so Why Bother and it sucks

Hey, Americans?

I know y’all are going to be real excited when there’s been enough vaccinations and you guys are safe-ish. There are going to be parties and lots of people visiting each other.

I’m going to be really happy for you, and I want you to celebrate! But I might also need to block posts like that, sometimes, so would you be willing to tag?

I’ve been feeling weird about all the vaccination posts going around. We’ve started vaccinating some of the very at-risk people, here, because Canada isn’t too far down the priority list, but we’re definitely behind the States. I’m guessing healthy Canadians might start hearing things in the fall? Other countries are going to get the vaccine a long time after that.

I am not asking anyone to feel guilty or not get vaccinated! I am not asking you to avoid posting about it! Share your good news!

But if people could tag posts, (maybe with ‘vaccination celebration’ if there isn’t a better tag?), so that I can opt-in to celebrate with you? And opt-out when I’m feeling claustrophobic in my house and mourning the loss of amusement parks and beaches for my kids? That would be really appreciated.
