Once or twice in life you meet those incredibly rare gems. Those people who upon laying your eyes on them, you know it’s as if your souls were best buds before time. RasulAllah (S) said they are your rafeeq…your soul companion. How amazing, right? Met my rafeeq two Ramadas ago and haven’t seen her since…BUT OH MY ALLAH SHE IS COMING THIS WEEKEND AND WORDS CAN’T EVEN EXPLAIN. Alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen…Allah is the true Joiner of Hearts. Oh if you could see the grin on my face…Ya Rahman…. When we called each other and could barely breathe…we were stumbling over our words with pure, unfiltered glee. When you meet your rafeeq (again)….don’t ever ever ever let go.
