My little decorator assistant🛋💓 . . When your girls are now mobile and everything has to be lifted on higher shelves...but she still seems to find something that I forgot to lift higher! 😃 I just randomly threw some of these things on the shelves in our dining room when I was trying to move all of my decor up higher so Genevieve and Georgia can't reach it...and now I think it actually doesn't look half bad! Accidental decorating for the win!🙌 . . Side note: This floral china is a purchase Bryan and I made about 7 years ago on a trip to Durant, OK (We went to stay at the Choctaw casino, but of course we had to make a drive by their small downtown to check out all the fun shops, ha!) We came across a cute lil antique shop that was closing and totally raided the place! It was like a thrifter's Christmas! I fell in love with this china and its pretty and dainty floral details...it was only 7 place settings, and some teacup saucers were missing, but I didn't care! It spoke to me, and that's my one design rule that I live by...buy things that speak to you! Even if they don't make sense, or you don't have an exact spot for it right now...because you'll never have buyer's remorse on items that make you feel something💓🏺 . .
