There’s a difference between getting help & giving away your power. When I started my business I had no clue what I was doing. So I hired people to tell me what to do. I followed their strategies, focused on the niche they told me was best, set prices they said were right for me. I GAVE AWAY MY POWER. I didn’t think I had any to be honest. I didn’t know what I was doing. I had an idea of what I wanted, but none of the details(more of an outline). So I dismissed how what I was doing felt to me. I made all my decisions from a place of someone else knows best. I GAVE AWAY MY POWER AND I FAILED Nothing worked. Getting clients was a bitch. I was all over the place because every time I hired someone new, I’d change everything. I was constantly trying to fit into someone’s foolproof system. Until... I HIRED A COACH THAT GOT ME! That was a different experience. We dug into my vision. All the places I wasn’t clear or afraid to set boundaries. Who I wanted to work with. What it looked like to me. She helped me figure my shit out. She pushed me to believe in what I knew. Who I wanted to help. What that looked like. She helped me take back my power because she didn’t push the same system on me & everyone else. She showed me how to take the basic principles & match them to my strengths. I WAS FINALLY BEING SUPPORTED The difference was amazing. I finally liked my business. I was signing clients. I created products that didn’t feel like homework.
