Okay, anger at makeup brands

So you know when they advertize makeup as "weightless" and "feels like nothing"

My touch sensory input would say "that this stuff is sufforcating you, take it tf off right now BEFORE I MAKE YOU CRY"

Because I would love to wear makeup, and I want to, but it feels like I am covered in cling-wrap

what's your makeup/beauty routine?

this is a hilarious question but okay i’ll have a try.

my routine is relatively non-existent. i’m at school five days a week and they have a firm no-makeup policy, which of course doesn’t really mean ‘no-makeup’ just ‘natural enough that we don’t have to pick you up on it’. so sometimes i wear powder foundation, lip balms, very occasionally mascara, but it’s pretty minimal. most days i wear nothing because i’d rather sleep in the morning. on weekends it’s the same sort of deal, but with brighter lip colours and eyeshadows (my urban decay naked 2 palette is my everything). i suck at eyeliner so i normally don’t bother, even though i love how it looks on other people.

oh, and i have no skincare regime except for, like, hoping for the best, because i don’t have my shit together enough for the whole cleanse/exfoliate/moisturise thing.
