Its that time of year again where the Make-up Masters go head to head for title of Best Hair, Make-up and Prosthetics at the Oscars. Listed below are the magnificent 7 who have made it through to final selection process. There is a great mixture of Period Hair and Make-up work in The Dressmaker and Florence Foster Jenkins, fantastical fantasy character work in Star Trek and Suicide Squad. Deadpool brings an incredible top to toe burns make-up to the table whilst Hail Caesar brings old Hollywood Glamour to our screens once again.
A really great mix of marvellous Make-up, all worthy winners too. I can’t wait to see how the judges decide who wins this year and to hear their reasoning behind it. Having just seen Suicide Squad I was knocked out by the variety of character work and the attention to detail on each actor, however im keeping my vote card close to my chest on this one. A great bunch of nominees amongst a pool of incredible Make-up, Hair and Prosthetics work from many artists in 2016.
