Its that time of year again, dazzling lights, golden decorations and champagne popping left right and center. No, not Christmas...The Oscars. Whilst the votes may not be cast just yet tongues are wagging about who will win the  ‘Best Hair & Make- up & Hair Design’ award and there are some tough contenders entering the ring with age being no limit...especially in the case of the beautiful old age make-up created by Dave Elsey for’ Holmes’. Investigating into the design processes, test make-ups and final looks the video above blows the lid on how Make-up and Prosthetics Designer Dave Elsey transformed McKellen into Sherlock Holmes both young and old. Further investigations will be taken on who will win the prestigious award but clues may hint towards a winner nearer the time.
