Okay, so, I’m worldbuilding a creature, and I’m gonna get y’all in on the process.
What I Know
The creature has a long, serpentine body, and is large enough to be mounted. It has four legs and a pair of wings.
What I Don’t Know
Does it have fur, feathers, or scales?
Claws or talons?
About how long is it? (Using other animals as units, i.e. “the length of two horses” or something)
What does its face look like? (Again, comparing to another animal)
Why Compare to Other Animals?
Because it’s a lot easier than describing its features in a vacuum. Why do you think the chimera and griffin have the [body part] of a(n) [animal] and the [body part] of a(n) [animal]?
