Thing about writing Good Omens fanfiction... you have to be extremely cognizant of your usage of the word "effort."

Was it going to be an innuendo? Doesn't matter, it sure is now!

I might use this line, but boy does it come with some implications I may or may not want here! 🤣🤣🤣

“You remember our little arrangement,” the demon went on, so low Aziraphale had to make an effort to hear him.

I had forgotten that these two oft quoted lines are in the same paragraph. 😅☺️
