Good morning my friends. In one of my previous posts I shared about wanting to find more softness in life. Being inspired to paint things that being in more of the softness and help round out those hard edges. This rose was inspired by an amazing person and Priestess that I follow @vanessasagepriestess @sagepriestesstraining . Her presence on social media is such a blessing and she helps to being softness to the world. She shares so much of herself and it’s all real which is so very inspiring and refreshing. . I will continue to use my art as a way to help me bring in more softness and love into my life. Slowly allowing the hard edges created from grief and pain to be turned into something gentle and beautiful inside of me. Compassion for yourself..... What a challenging concept when you think about it. In our world having compassion for others is important and accepted but when we have compassion for ourselves we are told that we are selfish and made to feel not worthy of something that is very much a basic need in life.
