Every year at this time I take an inventory of what I preserved from my farm the year before and start a list. What’s left, we’re we able to eat organically most the year from the garden, what do we need to preserve more of ectectect. Basically we cleaned out the freezer with pesto and a little fruit left, pantry still has some herbs, spices and flowers. I learn a lot from doing this as it tells me how I can do better this season, what I need to grow more of and hope we have a bumper crops. On tonight’s menu the end of preserved veggies- Cauliflower base, Pesto pasta with the last of the Spinach, Zucchini and Tomatoes with a beautiful green salad fresh from the garden.
