Making a mess. I’ve been experimenting with different clays to make beads using the silicone moulds I’ve created from unusual objects. I would love to make porcelain beads but pottery is next level and I’ve no room in the caravan for those shenanigans. So I’ve tried polymer clay and air dry clay but I would love a more heavy stone-like feel. At the moment I’ve plumped for a mix of Apoxie Sculpt and leftover cement powder. So far kinda good ish. It’s no where as stoney and heavy as I’d like but I think I prefer it to the other options. Does anyone have any cheat tips for making faux pottery-clay like items from moulds that are closer to a heavy porcelain or stoneware finish?
