Lemonade Stand
At the end of the week, my lemonade stand made $60.50 in profits.
The best day I had was on day 6. It was sunny and hot and there was a soccer tournament that day as well. The soccer tournament increased demand for the lemonade, so my goal going into that day after reading the newspaper was to make more pitchers than I had been to meet the demand. I made 7 pitchers of lemonade to attempt to meet the demand, but I still sold out.
My worst day I only made a dollar in profit in part due to bad weather and an expensive pitcher price. I made my goal to make a small amount of profit, and succeeded.
If I were to play the game again, one thing I would immediately do differently is make more pitchers of lemonade. I was only making around 3 pitchers of lemonade each day and I would sell out. The second thing I would do differently is charge about 20 cents more for a cup of lemonade. I was only charging about 40-50 cents per cup. It was enough to make a profit, but I was too worried that there would be too much extra lemonade if I charged more. The customers exclaimed on multiple occasions throughout the week that I was charging a very low price, indicating I could definitely raise it and I would still sell the same amount.
