I still don't understand go//yuu, but it's so popular overseas and in Japan, so there must be a reason. Kinda would like an explanation/different insight besides it’s just for fun, if anyone has one.

Also, why is Yuji shipped with everyone in jjk? It’s the first time I've seen this happen with an mc in a show. Megumi’s kinda up there too when it comes to being shipped with everyone. They both also get turned into the most stereotypical bottom that’s ooc for them. Which is fine cause to each their own.

But does this happen because it’s more like a self insert kinda thing? If that's the case then all Yuji’s ships would make automatically sense that way. I mean he has the most versatile personality and interacts with a ton of characters so it makes sense to use him as a self insert. Genuine curiosity honestly and this is the best place to ask instead of going into the comfort of someone else's fandom space.
