Sushi and makkeoli

It's almost 8am

And i am drunk. I had no choice. I technically worked until 3, but because it was my close Unni's going away party we drank until closing, drank more soju outside at 88포차 nearby, and then i also had to drink almost an entire bottle of makkeoli by myself simply because i am KU student. Of course i prefer makkeoli over soju which tastes worse than cough syrup, and since i binge drink wine the hangover for me isn't so strong. But still...it doesnt matter my situation i still had to drink. But one girl had to go to work in the morning at her other job and is forced to stay. I have to skype my grandma in an hour and then immediately after go to Gangnam for a daytime part time job interview but i still had to stay AND go to the 노래방 too...i literally was blocked from leaving. this is probably the one thing about Korean culture i dislike. When you're drinking together it doesn't matter what important thing you have later or the next day everyone has to drink until they feel dead, either from drunkenness or tiredness from being out all night. Even the host might have some important event bit they still drink so much...its somewhat irresponsible bit also awesome, in the original meaning of the word. I give credit to all my Korean friends who are stuck drinking night after night and still have to go to work the next morning, sleep deprived and hungover and still all be expected to function normally and be productive at work. Even as a foreigner i cannot make any excuse or escape. My coworkers who were younger got drunker and more incapacitated first so they got to go home. I wish i didn't hold my alcohol so well or wasn't so naturally good and seeming like i am not drunk...and it's Sunday!!! ...monday... So guess who wont be sleeping and has to skype their grandma and do a job interview while drunk? ㅠㅠ I still have to wait until like after lunch time until i'm allowed to sleep this sucks. I still have to work to tonight too...so i probably wont be exercising pr studying at all either ugh Im drunk and writing this post took forever
