I remember one fourth-wall break from one of the specials (I think it was Save Summer?) where Buford makes a comment like "Phineas is yelling at his sister, it must be a special episode" and it's got me wondering. Is that true? Does Phineas yell at Candace during every special episode, or the only time he yells at her is during special episodes?

You are indeed correct that “Phineas and Ferb Save Summer” is the source for Buford’s comment! 

Phineas has only yelled in a peeved manner at Candace in “Phineas and Ferb: Summer Belongs to You!” ”Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel,” and ”Phineas and Ferb Save Summer,” which means he doesn’t yell at her during every special episode (though he does indeed seem to only yell at her during specials)!

Dubwool got his size increased in this panel. Other than two instances of Hop having the insides of his mouth colored in and the boutique he was in front of properly screentoned, that’s about it.

Schilly’s hair generally always gets highlights added in, but since Leon and Sonia’s hair are longer, the conditioner is a lot more noticeable ^-^.

Their date had started with Hop asking Schilly about her research on why Pokémons who used transform capacities on Pokémon capable of Gigamaxing could not themselves Gigamax.

It had ended up with the two of them being expulsed from the dinner they were having a date in, because they had been there for five hours straight, and they were about to close.

By conventional means, this might not count as a date. They had barely ate, Schilly too busy explaining the different scientific theories about why and how Dynamax worked and how the anatomy of Pokémons changed in the process, and Hop too busy listening to her.

Conventions, by all means, could get lost. Hop did have a fun time, thank you very much, and according to her large grin, Schilly was ecstatic to have been set free to speak of her passion. And even if the boy had sometimes been lost in the amount of info dump, he had learned a lot of knowledge in the past few hours.

“I’m thirsty…” Schilly groaned on his side. One could only go so far than speak for hours straight without putting a strain to their throat.

“I guess so…” Hop slightly chuckled. “You know, there this café, near the station, that is doing a great hot chocolate. And they’re open 24 hours a day, so we won’t get expulsed because we stay too late… What do you think? Do you wanna finish about how some objects stop working when the Pokémon holding it dynamax?”

“You really want to hear about it? Because you see, there was this article last month, that explains that potentially…”

She kept talking all the way to the café, and changed of topic for how a Dynamax Pokémon could not be affected by Curse Body as they received their mugs of hot chocolate. And during this whole time, Hop kept staring at her with a dreamy smile.

Yes, he really did love that girl.

I mean, there’s the really obvious one that I don’t want to mention, cause it feels weird to even say it’s a otp you know?? I really don’t know how popular it is but I like to think mcu st*arker isn’t 

I don’t have any others. I don’t really care about romance in fic, so it’s not something I'm usually opinionated on. I do like the canon ships a lot better than the fandom ones, but id that just comes down to the kind of fic I search out. (also sambucky might become an exception) 

11.) Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? why? 

Is Flash unpopular?? I LOVE FLASH!!! he’s probably one of my favorite characters besides Peter in the solo spidey films. flash has so much potential!! he’d be an excellent addition to the fos and if we don’t see him in sm3 or he gets turned into a villain or some shit I will actually cry. 

maybe cause him disliking and lightly bullying Peter just makes sense? peter has a lot of things that Flash envies and the way he’s shoved aside in homecoming because Peter just decides at the last minute he’s going on the trip even after saying he wasn’t would be infuriating. he honestly just seems like a kid who needs to be seen and heard by somebody, and it’s a little heartbreaking tbh.

idk if it’s opinion about him as a character, more about the way fandom treats his characterization like one is more valid than the other, and that’s just not the way fanFIC works

the whole point of fic is to say okay but what if this happened? what if THIS happened instead of that? what if this character was this way instead? the more time I spend online the more I start to think people really don’t understand fic as a concept. 

long story short, I hate the assumption that there’s right and wrong characterizations. they’re all good and valid, this is fic after all, Peter is relatable for a lot of reasons so it’s just... obvious that there will be different characterizations of him including ones that I don’t personally vibe with. I’m just not down with telling other people they are wrong for it.

I have a small question about the rules for eligible fics; so it says that "The fics must each standalone; if they are part of the same series, they count as one fic." What does that mean for fics that each stand alone but are also part of a series? i.e. a series of unrelated oneshots that all have a similar theme

This is a great question that can vary greatly depending on the fics! In short though, use your best rule of thumb - do the fics take place in the same universe? Do events from one fic affect another in any way, even if the fics can be understood as standalone? Those fics are considered “part of the same series” and are treated as one contiguous fic. 

Example:

-A 12 Days of Christmas series where each fic is a different day, but they take place in the same timeline - this is considered as one fic.

-A Whumptober collection where each fic is a completely separate universe, but they are collected together in a “series” solely for the sake of the challenge - these can be used as separate fics.
