It’s that time again. @chickswhorip and the Aunty Dianes ( yup two #wonderwoman ) have helped build tree groves, food forests , native hawaiian cultivated dry land mala and garden classes at our outreaches throughout the island on and away from #kekahacommunitygarden the flag ship. Our ‘Oomano Point #kekaha location is now the home of our public and charter school garden run by our children. We see this island as our hale, our house, our canoe; each designated area a study , heiau, to educate the skills of economic growth of community involvement. As #haole , foreigners, and #malahini aspiring residents share space with #makaainana our training classes have now spread to become other individual gardens and groves. We will be combining our wood shop program and food programs with #Kalo and #kumulaauUlu , our ground plant and tree leading the group as they continue to grow.
