Proper names for Fuzzes, at long last.
Probably not entirely up to WH standards for daemon names, but I am not doing these crazy keymashes, I need something I can reliably type without my face over keyboard every time.
Up to future revisions, of course, because I am terrible at naming characters.
Tzeentchian: Lacedrace, Hopespark. Often goes by simply Hope when mingling with mortals.
Slaaneshi: Shanakay. Monikers include Siren and Lady of Thorns. Also goes by a great many teasing monikers due to her complicated relationship with a bunch of other Keepers of Secrets.
Nurglite: Balthrag. Otherwise often referred to as Bogmother. Because well, she lives in a bog and has mom friend vibes.
Khornate: An'Hangra. Tiny angy daemon is often also referred to as Packlord or Hound due to her always seen accompanied by flesh hounds.
Malalite considers herself to be above such human things as names. Or maybe just got tired of An'Hangra coming up with edgier and edgier suggestions and removed herself from the convo.
What are all the Fuzzes favourite people in the Warhammer universe?
Fuzzy Choir from the Warp: “Understanding people here as a person in general, regardless of the actual… species? Tzeentchian is fond of Magnus and Void Dragon;Khornate likes Angron and captain Sarrin;Slaaneshi unsurprisingly fond of Her Prince, Slaanesh; Nurglite likes her nurglings, Jeremy and Bob; Malalite likes herself and her sword.
Of course, those are not full lists, just ones of a favorites”
Being demons would their forms noticeably change in the presence of strong human emotion or areas of intense warp presence (Like a Warp Storm)

An interesting thought, I haven't actually thought about this before! So thank you for the suggestion.
I would say that Warp Storms definitely make them go progressively more "unhinged" and distorted in their forms, the longer they stay close enough.
The specific idea probably is that limited exposure would be beneficial in terms of amplifying their abilities and recharging their "magic batteries", but prolonged exposure would send them into overcharge with this excess energy finding its own way out.
The worst end result probably is that their crystalline hosts shatter and they forcible change into their proper daemon forms and later likely getting yeeted back in the Warp without proper hosts when a storm will pass?
Human emotion I bet has relatively the same effect, just needs very, very high concentration to match what Warp Storms do. This, I guess, also makes being around humans with a proper emotional state a great way for them to stay well-fed energy-wise.
An'Hangra with her Khornate diet requirements must have such field day with all the war raging across the galaxy.
So, I want to draw more with Fuzzes to practice their design and just have some fun stuff to give back to people.
Please, suggest me with which characters Fuzzes can interact and how and I will provide a sketch in return!
Both canon and OC characters are cool, feel free to specific exact one of Fuzzes or I can just pick one. Same for the nature of interactions. Feel free to either specify, or I would default to something cheerfully friendly.
How has the Malal fuzz been doing? Does she get mad when people don't recognize her alignment/origin god, or as a piece of the god of nihilism, does she not care?
Love your blog! Your art is awesome.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Anon! It means a ton ;u;
As for the Nameless One? Well, she is doing... fine? Meaning she emotionlessly continues her rampage through the realspace and Immaterium both, hunting down other daemons with her giant reality-tearing sword.
Spends her rare off-time in some odd void beyond reality, I would imagine, recuperates after the battle there as well.
Would be fun if it happens to be the same place beyond reality where Horus's soul was yeeted by Big E. This can be odd. Population growing to twice as much in a single day.
All in all, I think she might have been slightly miffed about people not recognizing her department originally, but by this point? Couldn't care less.
Oh yeah how tall are each of the fuzzes in comparison to each other?

Oh, an awesome question! Let's see... Regardless if they are in their crystal hosts or proper daemon forms proportion remains roughly the same, just on a different scale.
For daemon forms I however have no idea how actually big they would be relative to other characters, so only providing this information for their crystalline "humansonas".
The shortest one is An'Hangra, Khornate one. On the human scale, she is shorter than average, but it just makes her battle fury more condensed and bright. Being able to ride flesh hounds into battle is an added benefit.
Next in height is Lacedrace, Tzeentchian one. She is a tad bit above average on the human scale but feels like she is smaller due to how thin and fragile-looking she is. Still perfectly able to bench-press Cato in his power armor if needed.
Closely following is Balthrag, Nurglite one. She is only a bit shorter compared to typical Astartes on the human scale and in contrast with Lacedrace looks even bigger due to how chubby and round she is.
And then there is Shanakay, Slaaneshi one. She is somewhere between Astartes and Thunder Warriors in height on the human scale and you can tell that An'Hangra is low-key pissed off about it. She is, accidentally, also perfectly sized to hug Astartes and Primarchs and you can do with this information whatever you want.
Nameless, Malalite one is hard to put down, but I would honestly put her even higher on the list compared to Shanakay. She can be big, she can be taller than Custodes and with the sword far bigger than normal humans are. As a treat.
How would the Fuzzes fit into the Silmarillion universe?
A very interesting question!
Since the answer will be rather long - I will put it under the cut! Also tagging @sleepyysalamiri and @aearyn, I guess, because hey, Tolkien stuff.
First of all, I guess they will be Ainur in the Silmarillion, because well, supernatural being with fancy magic powers and all that kind of stuff. Also they obviously will be maiar in this case.
What is more interesting - will they be fallen maiar serving Melkor or will they be regular “good” maiar. But I guess it can always be thought of later, because the core will be the same in both cases, just marred or unmarred variant, sort of.
So, let’s see where they can fit! Note that I am speaking about the pantheon of a published Silmarillion, not the earlier versions.
Khornate Fuzz as far as I can tell is the one that can be sorted really easily. Given her furious and battle-like spirit she will either end up with Tulkas or maybe Orome, given that I gave her a pack of hounds in the WH40k. As a fallen maiar she can easily be a balrog or a dragon, if we are following that idea of dragons being maiar.
Nurglite Fuzz is also sorted rather easy into the Yavanna or Vana service, given that I imagined her to be a bit plant and flora based daemon even in WH40k. As a fallen she will probably be pretty much thee same as a nurglite daemon: death, diseases, rot, corruption.
Slaaneshi Fuzz is a weird one, really. In her WH40k version I see her as being all about arts and perfection and beauty and in Silmarillion I am not sure where to put her. With Nessa because of her being a great dancer and really swift and agile? With Irmo because he is the Lord of Dreams and Desires? With Vana, because of her beautiful visage? A maia that is really good at multitasking, probably.
As a fallen one I guess she will be sort of a semi-Thuringwethil, minus the vampire tones.
Tzeentchian Fuzz is also kind of weird one. Given that I will not sort her as a Manwe’s maia based on her bird-related elements, I guess she will do fine in the Halls of Mandos, serving both Namo and Vaire, given that her WH40k counterpart is a servant to the god of knowledge it seems only fitting to lend her to Valar that are known to have a really good recollection of things that were and that will be.
And as a fallen one. Well, I guess you can always find a use for such talents during the wars. Some sort of a dark prophet helping strategists.
Malalite Fuzz… Well. I don’t really see her as a maia, more of a being akin to Ungoliant, I guess. Some otherworldly horror from the Void.
((Since I got more of a WH mood these days - I am back for a meeme again.
This time it will be Truth Serum Meme! Ask any of Fuzzes any question you want and they will answer truthfully, even if cryptically. For confirmation, you can ask nsfw-ish things, but let’s keep it respectful, will we?
Anyway, have fun! I will also try to answer some of ask I got back then))
