Obat ini memiliki kerja yang spesifik pada setiap fasenya. ◆Saat nyamuk yang membawa parasit malaria menggigit manusia sehat maka nyamuk melepaskan sporozoit dari air liurnya ke aliran darah manusia. ◆ Setelah masuk ke aliran darah sporozoit dibawa ke sel hati nah di sel hati sporozoit akan menginfeksi sel hati dan membentuk merozoit nah pada proses ini ada obat yang kerjanya menghambat perkembangan sporozoit menjadi merozoit di sel hati yaitu obat primaquine. ◆ Nah kalo ternyata obat belum berhasil mencegah maka si merozoit terbentuk dan pecah, kemudian keluar dari sel hati untuk menginfeksi sel darah merah. ◆ Setelah menemukan sel darah merah maka akan menginfeksi dan terbentuk tropozoit. ◆ Tropozoit akan berkembang menjadi skizon. Namun disini ada obat yang bisa menghambat proses perkembangan parasitnya yaitu dengan obat artemisin, cloroquine, quinine, mefloquine dan pyrimetamine. ■ Kalo masih bisa lolos maka skizon di sel darah merah tadi akan pecah dan menginfeksi sel darah merah lainnya. Dan sebagian ada yang berkembang jadi sel kelamin/gamet parasit. ◆ tenanh ada nih obat yang masih bekerja di fase ini yaitu Primaquine yang bisa mencegah terbentuknya sel gamet itu. Sel gamet ini bila nanti terbentuk dan ada nyamuk sehat betina menggigit maka nyamuk itu akan terinfeksi dan bila menggigit orang sehat lain bisa menularkan malarianya. ■ Nah jadi begitu, obatnya bekerja pada berbagai fase hidup parasit di dalam tubuh jadi obatnya saling bekerjasama gitu, #drug #meccanismofaction #MOA #malarial #parasit #plasmodium #treatment #medical #malaria #drugs #pengobatan #obatmalaria
