VISITING BORACAY ISLAND ON A STORMY WEATHER
Boracay is a favorite summer destination of our family during the early 90s. We have witness it’s transformation from a remote unspoiled paradise where the entire shoreline is nested by coconut trees to an overly commercialized destination it is now. It may have lost it’s pristine and it’s tropical paradise – feel like, still Boracay will always be Boracay. The best island paradise.
We came to Boracay with the storm. Literally, our flight to Aklan was delayed due to the storm that Visayas were experiencing at the time. We arrived at 6:30 pm then needed a bus ride going to Caticlan for about 2 hrs. The rain started to fall as wind begin to howl from the outside. We arrived past 8 pm at the Caticlan Jetty Terminal. But we were directed to the other port since strong wind and waves are starting to be felt on this side of the jetty port.
