Creating This National Costume Was Really Challenging yet With Great Passions It Is Humbly Realized And Created. This National Costume, Is To Honour One Of The Majestic Bird Of Borneo That Is The Hornbill And Of Course The Multi Indigenous People Of North Borneo (East Malaysia). The Concept Is To Create A Simple Meaningful National Costume For The North Borneo People, Where it Will be Sophisticated And Contemporary. It Is Also Greatly To Honour The Richness And Uniqueness Of The North Borneo Where It Is Truly Beautiful as It Has Its Own Great Identity. The Hornbill Choosen Because Usually It Is Use As The Symbol of Many Tribes in Borneo Which can be Found at The East Of Malaysia. Each elements Of The National Costume Are Not Just To Represent The Hornbill Which The Rhinoceros Hornbill, But It Also Are The Combinations Of Many Tribes In The Land Of Borneo, From The Shape, Accessories Use, Headress, Fabrics, Motives, Symbols Even The Colours Itself.
