Press release promoting the 1993 single by Malcolm Ross (Josef K/Orange Juice/Aztec Camera), released by U.S. record label spinART.
A member of multiple storied Scottish bands from the heyday of that influential pop scene springing from the shadow of punk, Malcolm Ross popped up once more in the early 90s with music all his own. This press release is for the second of two 7″ singles released in 1993. The first was issued by midwestern pop stalwarts Bus Stop, and this one by east coast indie label spinART.
This press release also teases a full album that ended up coming about two years later. Note the roster of talent: ex-OJ bandmate Steven Daly, former Go-Between Robert Vickers. And a co-production credit by OJ leader Edwyn Collins himself? Impeccable!
