Okay but can you imagine Alec fully coming into himself this season like it doesn't just stop with the Fancy Shirt, Magnus sees him getting into fashion and shit and wants to support him letting go and being himself and so he "accidentally" starts leaving makeup out around the loft and casually buys Alec rings and bracelets as little souvenirs from places they go like Tokyo and Paris, and starts suggesting accessories cause "this scarf would totally go with your eyes" and Alec appreciates this so much because he's always been so suppressed at the institute but whenever he sees his boyfriend forget to put away his eyeliner even though Alec knows he could literally have magicked it on, he knows Magnus is there for him even in the littlest of things and wants him to be confident and true to himself where was I going with this I'm emo
