Okay I have a theory. Just hear me out.

So when Magnus tries to get his magic back in 03x14, I think the consequence he might have to face is the fact tha he will start to age faster. Idk maybe all the years he lived try to catch up to him or something. I think we kind of sort of saw Magnus with a bit of gray hair in one of the trailer shots?

Anyways, I think in 03x16, which is called Stay with Me (I can feel the angst now itself yall) is when Magnus has his seizure and gives the death scare we saw in the 3B trailer. They save him (obviously) and stuff happens.

The point is I think either the proposal happens at the end of that episode or in 03x18, which is called Aku Cinta Kamu (get ready to die bitches). This episode is most likely to have the proposal which will he followed by the wedding in the season finale.

I just feel like malec is gonna get married before 3x20 ends - which means that we are gonna get domesitc husbands in the grand finale episode.

I'm not sure if this is gonna happen but a girl can dream...

Malec theories for Season 3

SPOILERS! Don’t read if you haven’t seen season 2 or seen the new Season 3 trailer! So, I have some possible scenarios for the quote, “Being a high warlock meant everything to him.” So here they are: 1. Whoever was talking (Cat?), was talking about the new warlock. Maybe he’s Magnus’s rival because Magnus took the position out from under him? And now this new warlock thinks it’s the right time to take it back? 2. Magnus gives it up for Alec. Now, I don’t really see Alec allowing this, especially not when it caused so much controversy in season 2. He knows Magnus loves his position. But then, maybe Cat and Alec are having a deep conversation about it because Magnus WANTS to give it up for Alec. 3. This new warlock takes it from Magnus. Which seems to be the most common theory? 4. The Clave takes it from Magnus for siding with the Seelie Queen (can they do that?). Or maybe someone else takes it from him for siding with the Queen? There is said to be consequences for his chosen side back in season 2. Also, can we talk about this new warlock for a second? He’s Magnus’s rival, right? So he’d probably do anything and everything to upset Magnus. The question is....will he go after Alec to get at Magnus? Is it horrible that a part of me wants to see this happen!!!! Lol.

Hear me out, Alec would propose to Magnus. I’ve mostly seen things of Magnus proposing to Alec, but I just don’t think that would happen. Magnus has mentioned marriage before, and implied how he hasn’t been married or no one has wanted to marry him. I can imagine Magnus proposing to someone when he was ‘younger’ and them turning him down cause immortality or whatever. In fact I can see that happening more than once. So I feel like Magnus would really want to marry Alec, but he wouldn’t ask cause he just thinks Alec wouldn’t want to marry someone immortal. It’s really sad. But it makes Alec’s proposal so much sweeter cause after all this time, Magnus thought no one would want him like that. Alexander Lightwood is full of surprises.

My malec theory for 207:

1-something happens that makes Alec thinks that he owes Magnus sexy time
 -> Sneak peek : Jace had sex with someone in Magnus appartement. 
2- Kiss with full moon make out session magnus stops it clearly sensing the timing is off 
“You’re not the only one that feels vulnerable” 
3- sex talk with Izzie and let’s throw a party talk too because they have to bring the subject on. 
4- Back from Tokyo and omamori scene. Alec buys the omamori because he heard Magnus insecurities. Why would he buy him something that personal otherwise? 
5- Sweet kiss scene and maybe sexy scene.

Shadowhunters - Season 2, Episode 9 Promo - Freefo

@claryharry wrote a wonderful discussion/theory about the malec kiss (and implied sex scene), and they pointed out that the kiss was filmed from a different angle in the promo, implying that in the next episode they may follow up on what occurred after what we witnessed. Unfortunately, it looks like they literally just flipped the image for the promo; it’s clearly the same kiss. Nevertheless, I’m still holding out for an extended explanation next Monday. ;) gif cred: @shadowhuntersseries

I don't think the necklace is what Alec gets him. I'm not positive but I believe I've already seen him wearing the necklace in shots before he gives it. Go back and look at the picture of him receiving it. I'm pretty sure he's wearing it.

So I was just wondering how many kisses do you think we will get in 2A of Malec?? Like we know we might get 2 but I think it might be more than that

I honestly can’t even begin to speculate on this. The logical part of my brain is like, ok don’t get your hopes up, there aren’t going to be that many. Maybe like 2 or 3, like you said. However, the other part of me is like, there’s gonna be at least 5! And they’re totally gonna make out at some point too!! Maybe against a wall or on a couch!! …Really, who knows? I’m trying not to think about it too much and just enjoy all the Malec as it gloriously unfolds before our eyes, take everything Matt Daddario has said with a grain of salt and tamp down my expectations. I’m sure it’s all going to be amazing anyway and I can’t wait to see every little bit of it.
